What happens when a brain and a landscape collide ? Filming telluric hypnosis sessions, Gurwann Tran Van Gie attempted to capture the impact of Icelandic elements on the psyches of French writer Thomas Clerc and Icelandic artist Asdis Sif Gunnarsdottir. A meditative and sensory journey through the mechanics of the body.
The film was directed and produced, during a residency in Reykjavik, as part of the Hors Pistes 2016 edition.

In anechoic chamber, a setting of absolute silence, 4 personalities chosen for their approach deemed to have integrity are questioned under hypnosis on the truth that guides them, encourages them to act and create in this world. In the background stands a motionless figure, "The Guardian of the Unconscious".
With actress Kate Moran, singer songwriter Alex June, dancer Massimo Fusco, and journalist writer Blandine Rinkel.
The guardian of the unconscious is played by Charles Fréger and Romain Daudet Jahan. Film directed and produced as part of the 10th edition of the festival OFF TRACKS 2015 at the Pompidou Center.
